Misfirings from my Neurons

Happy Holidays Everyone
Best wishes for a Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and a wonderful holiday season. Smiths Aerospace gives us a vacation on the week between Christmas and the New Year, so Heleen, Paul-Allen and I will probably be glued to our PCs playing World of Warcraft until we explode from holiday food. Then in 2005, back to our rigourous Weight Watchers family diet. (We did succeed, both Heleen and I have lost 60+ lbs each, Paul-Allen over 100 or so.)

We hope everyone has a wonderful vacation as well. For those still looking for work, I wish you the best of luck in 2005. Am glad to be working after 2 Christmases without a job. (We plan a little extra splurging this year... )

Musings Du Jour New to Michigan, am discovering that Michiganders appear to have an order of magnitude greater temperature tolerance that we Jerseyans... I consider in cold from 50-32, dang cold from 32-0 and fracking cold below 0 farenheit... Mike, a loca, only considers it cold from 32-0 and dang cold below 0. Beats me when he would consider it fracking cold...

Oddly and amusingly someone said to my wife the other day that they recognized her "Jersey" accent. Yoiks... we've been type-cast already... :)

Wonderful karma time - my wife got me an MP3 player for our anniversary - a wonderful gift which I am looking forward to having lots of fun with... turns out the USB cable for the MP3 player also fits our digital camera... karma since the dog chewed through the camera's cable two weeks ago... and so all those pictures of the dog (and us) can be uploaded... yay! :)
