Misfirings from my Neurons

Slashdot Link Du Jour This is a nifty concept -- The Degree Confluence Project -- "Overview: The project is an organized sampling of the world. There is a confluence within 49 miles (79 km) of you if you're on the surface of Earth. We've discounted confluences in the oceans and some near the poles, but there are still 12,888 to be found." -- Have to grab a map and see how close there one to Grand Rapids, Michigan (where I be currently). Hopefully none has done it yet.
